PLASANA MEDICAL is a start-up developing a medical device based on a cold plasma jet technology (partially ionised gas) to treat chronic wounds. The plasma is applied to the wound for 1 to 2 minutes when the patient’s dressing is changed, and fits seamlessly into the existing patient journey. The device will be used by healthcare professionals both in hospitals and in homecare.
