Windlair develops and builds a high-capacity cargo drone for its customers in the energy, transport, industry, civil security and defence sectors, operating complex logistics missions on a daily basis in inter-urban, maritime, isolated or difficult-to-access areas.

The DX400 is an autonomous, hybrid electric aircraft capable of vertical take-off and landing, with a payload capacity of up to 150kg over a distance of more than 600km. The total weight of the aircraft is 630 kg. It is equipped with four pairs of counter-rotating propellers that provide lift during hovering or vertical flight, and a set of wings and tail that provide lift during cruise flight. The aircraft’s electric propulsion is provided by a propeller located at the rear. The DX400 is equipped with advanced BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) avionics and is based on a design certified under the EASA regulatory framework
