USE CASES

The coenzyme A and its derivatives (Acetyl-CoA, Malonyl-CoA, Succinyl-CoA, etc.) are used in the synthesis pathway of many compounds or families of compounds (phenylpropanoids, Polyketides, isoprenoids, fatty acids, etc.).

Thanks to this technology, it becomes possible to develop CoA-dependent biocatalytic reactions with high yield and scale.

ADVANTAGES

The process developed makes available the Coenzyme A at a competitive costhigh volumes and at high purity levels. This therefore enables companies and research laboratories specialising in biotechnology to develop new Coenzyme A-dependent biocatalytic processes allowing access to poorly bioavailable natural molecules by chemical or biotechnological means in vivo.

By coupling an optimized biocatalytic production process with a membrane purification system, it is possible to produce Coenzyme A at an unprecedented level in terms of quantity and purity.

APPLICATIONS

Natural molecules with low bioavailability will be able to be produced for the foodaromatics and cosmetics markets. It will also be possible to scale up CoA-dependent biocatalytic reactions that have not yet been developed. The process developed enables us to improve the naturalness index and thus obtain new active ingredients and natural functional ingredients.
